Since my sister-in-law is in VT for over a week, I've been helping (or at least trying to help) my brother (runs a diesel mechanic shop) in the office. I mostly just answer phone calls...never been a fan of answering the phone, but since I've had a lot of practice I'm finding it's not so bad...at least I don't cringe every time the phone rings anymore!!! =)
Gets rather boring in between calls though (not that there is nothing to do, but I just don't know how to do what there is to do!)...if I don't have any parts to package or bills to mail. Last week I brought my school books along to work on (which is also boring!), but today I biked here, and couldn't carry them along.

So...that's what I've been up to lately...with a few things added, like raking hay, family reunion, a fun Sunday evening at some friends' house, and other random everyday things.

Summer Evenings...

In the summer we go biking all the time on a bike trail that's not too far from here. Actually sometimes we bike to it straight from here, since it's mostly down hill...I haven't tried coming back up yet.
These pictures are from last Thursday and Friday night...which was actually the first time I went biking on the trail this year.
Of course if I'm along I'll make you stop to pose for a picture or two...
And sometimes when you don't think you could make it too many miles on a bike you can always walk...
If you are walking with the kiddos you most likely won't go so far...so you end up hanging out back in town...a very nice little town if you ask me...and you will end up stopping for a dish of ice cream to keep the brothers happy while waiting on the bikers to get back (no pictures of that).

Yesterday afternoon there was a wreck right around the corner from where we live. By the time I got over there this was all that was happening...
